Weihnachtsfeier (German Christmas Party)
The Club will host its traditional German Christmas Party (Weihnachtsfeier) in December.

Oktoberfest at Draughtsmen Aleworks in Goleta on Oct. 19
Experience the lively atmosphere of Oktoberfest right here on the South Coast! Grab your friends and family, put on your lederhosen or dirndl, and get ready to raise a stein in cheers for a good cause.
Join the German-American Club at Draughtsmen Aleworks in Goleta for a fun-filled celebration of all things German! Enjoy an afternoon filled with live music by Bottom Line Brass Band, delicious German food made by GermanYumTruck food truck, games, a “Tracht” (traditional German garments) contest, and of course, craft beers expertly brewed by the brewery, including their new Helles Lager. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for everyone.
Food, beverages and raffle tickets are available for purchase.
A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the German-American Club, supporting the Club’s mission to promote German heritage, culture, and language, and fostering cross-cultural friendships and understanding in the Santa Barbara area.

Sommerfest
Join us on June 9th for our 2024 Sommerfest. Enjoy food, drinks, a German live Brass Band, activities for kids, german Gemütlichkeit and more.

Easter Picnic
Join us on March 24 for our 2024 Easter Picnic. Enjoy food, drinks, German music, an Easter egg hunt, activities for kids, and more.

Weihnachtsfeier (German Christmas Party)
The Club hosted its traditional German Christmas Party (Weihnachtsfeier) on December 2. Guests enjoyed traditional German holiday music (including a performance by our German children’s choir), sweet and savory German food, drink, and Gemuetlichkeit.
Oktoberfest
On October 8, the Club hosted its traditional Oktoberfest celebration in Oak Park. Attendees of all ages – many of whom wearing Lederhosen, Dirndl, and other traditional German clothing – enjoyed German beer on tap, American wine, freshly grilled bratwurst, many other German dishes, and traditional German music.
Biergarten Picnic
On August 5, the Club hosted a Biergarten Picnic in Shoreline Park. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of German food as well as German beer, German music and Gemuetlichkeit.
Easter Picnic
On April 2, the Club hosted a family friendly Easter picnic in Tuckers Grove Park. Guests enjoyed “Kaffee & Kuchen”, music, games, and Easter-themed activities for kids, including egg dyeing.
Faschingsparty (German Mardi Gras party)
On February 11, the Club hosted a “Faschingsparty” (German Mardi Gras party), including German music, a hearty catered German dinner, drinks, and entertainment for adults and children. The best individual and couples costumes were awarded a prize.
2022
Weihnachtsfeier (German Christmas Party)
The Club hosted a traditional German Weihnachtsfeier (Christmas party) in December. The event featured traditional German food, Gluehwein, live music, entertainment for children, and a musical performance by a German children and youth choir.
General Meeting
The Club held a general meeting for all members in October and elected a new board of directors.
